Hello ensemble,
Practice timing for next week are as follow,
Wednesday: 330-630pm
Friday: 2-430pm (1230pm for SLs as usual)
Please prepare the parts/pieces that you are suppose to play for your SLs during the next practice. For the whole of next week, we will be focusing solely on Summer Breeze, Sleepers' Awake, Gavotte and Can't Help Falling in Love. For those of you who can already play, please start memorising Gavotte.
SLs, please work on Sleepers' Awake on your own, write down the counts on your scores (meaning like 1, 2, 3, 4 on top of the first note of every beat) I will check your scores next week.
There will be no practice on 12th Feb and 17th Feb, which means we'll be missing 5.5 hours of practice, and if you have checked our upcoming events, the audition for competition will be held very very soon, so start asking your SLs for help if you have any doubts.
In addition, we have shifted some of the furniture in the Guitar Room, and so, all Guitar 1s and 2s, please place your bags on the shelves at the right side of the guitar room (storage room side) while Guitar 3s and 4s are to place your bags on the shelves at the left side of the guitar room.
People involved in the CCA Exhibition, please report to the Guitar room by 2pm on Wednesday.
Continue working people, we are now nearing 9 weeks away (6 weeks actually, not counting our SA week, CNY etc) from the competition! WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!
