The Song of Laughter and Forgetting

Hi everyone...

Life is full of Ups and Downs.

I'm not sure about the rest of us, but I myself haven't gotten over it, so I thought I'll share a song here and hopefully make us all feel better.

It’s a Chinese song called 笑忘歌, direct translation: “The Song of Laughter and Forgetting” by Taiwanese Band, Mayday (五月天). I’m not trying to promote their songs or albums here, but I just thought that the lyrics are rather meaningful and are quite related to what we’re going through now. Apologies to the non-Chinese people, but don’t worry; English translations are available (:

The song is basically about not regretting what we’ve done when we grow old (may sound a little far-fetched…). We may, sometimes, repeat the same old mistakes, but nevertheless, we’ve been through all these pain (in guitar practices and in improving our playing), and it’ll still bring back good memories and put smiles on our faces as we think back.

You may or may not like this song; it doesn’t matter (but hopefully someone appreciates it XD) as long as at the end of the day, we have no regrets and gain from this learning experience.

***I know many of us don’t listen to Chinese songs but please, at least, read through the lyrics… thank you very much.
