Happy Youth Day!
Hope everyone everyone enjoys today. :D
Anyway, I've sent out the Section Allocation on tpjc.net.
Please look through it, and if your name is not there, tell me as soon as possible. :)
Oh and I hope you guys bond with your new section! Make new friends again!
Here is another finger exercise.
I call it, THE ISSAC! He thaught us Section Leaders this exercise and we found it useful. Thus, we want to share it to the ensmeble! :)
The Issac
(this exercise will improve the strength of your pinkie and ring finger, which are very vital)
1st Position
x2 - Play it twice
E-1-4-3-4-x2-------------------------------------------------------------------
B--------------1-4-3-4-x2------------------------------------------------------
G---------------------------1-4-3-4-x2-----------------------------------------
D----------------------------------------1-4-3-4-x2----------------------------
A-----------------------------------------------------1-4-3-4-x2---------------
E------------------------------------------------------------------1-4-3-4-x2--
Continue..
E-----------------------------------------------------1-4-3-4-x2--
B----------------------------------------1-4-3-4-x2---------------
G---------------------------1-4-3-4-x2----------------------------
D--------------1-4-3-4-x2-----------------------------------------
A-1-4-3-4-x2------------------------------------------------------
E-------------------------------------------------------------------
Do on the 2nd position, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th... until the 9th position where your pinkie is on the 12th fret. :)
The aim here is to improve the strength of your pinkie and ring finger, there is no need to rush, try to play as cleanly as possible, without any buzzing sounds.
After being able to play it cleanly, then start increasing your speed.
Cheers!
Ardy
PS: I think there is something wrong with the archives, resources tabs on the blog, after fixing it, I'll put up the section allocation there. :)
